Itinerary

Day 1: Siliguri / Bagdogra to Gangtok

• Pickup from NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Meet & greet by Navigator India’s representative.
• Drive to Gangtok (125km/ approx. 4–5 hours)

On the way

• Teesta River
  Enjoy scenic views of the river and hills. Great spot for photos and short breaks.

After arrival

• Check-in at hotel
• Evening free to explore (of your own):
  • MG Marg
    A clean, lively street with cafes, shops, and local vibes.
  • Gangtok Cable car (near MG Marg) (closes at 16.30 hrs)

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake

Start early morning for high-altitude excursion

Sightseeing:

• Tsomgo Lake (12,300 ft/ 3750 meters) (40km/ 2 hrs drive)
  A beautiful glacial lake surrounded by mountains. Changes colour with seasons.
• Walk around the lake & enjoy the beauty.

Optional: Cable car ride & yak ride at Tsomgo Lake

Return to Gangtok by evening.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung

Start early morning for North Sikkim (120km / approx. 6-7 hrs)

On the way

• Seven Sisters Waterfalls – A wide waterfall with multiple streams. Great photo stop.
• Naga Falls – Strong waterfall flowing beside the road.
• Chungthang – Scenic town where Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers meet.
• Lachung – A quiet mountain village surrounded by snow peaks.

Day 4: Yumthang Valley Excursion

After breakfast start excursion tour to Yumthang Valley.

Sightseeing:

• Yumthang Valley – Known as the Valley of Flowers. Covered with blooms in spring and snow in winter.
• Yumthang Hot Spring – Natural hot water spring near the valley.

Return to Lachung

Overnight in Lachung

Day 5: Lachung to Gangtok

After breakfast, drive back to Gangtok

On the way

• Stop again at waterfalls for photos
• Enjoy mountain views and river valleys

Day 6: Gangtok city tour

After breakfast start your full day city tour of Gangtok

• Rumtek Monastery – 16^th Century monastery & the Buddhist head quarter of India.
• Tashi View Point – Enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga on a clear day. Great place to start the day.

• Ganesh Tok – A small temple with a beautiful hilltop view of the city.
• Enchey Monastery – A calm monastery known for its spiritual vibe and traditional architecture.
• Flower Exhibition Centre –Displays seasonal flowers and orchids. A colorful and refreshing stop.
• Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom – See local artisans at work. Good place to buy authentic souvenirs.
• Namgyal Institute of Tibetology – Learn about Tibetan culture, history, and rare manuscripts.

Day 7: Gangtok to Siliguri/Bagdogra

• After breakfast, drive to NJP / Airport
• Tour ends with beautiful memories
