Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast, start for a full-day excursion to the high-altitude beauty spots of East Sikkim.
Your first destination is Tsomgo Lake (also called Changu Lake), located about 40 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,310 ft. The lake remains frozen during winter and becomes a beautiful shade of blue in summer. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, it is a photographer’s delight. You can enjoy a yak ride along the lakeside for a unique experience.
Next, visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a memorial dedicated to an Indian Army soldier, located at 13,200 ft. It’s a place of both history and legend, and visitors often come here to pay their respects.
Return to Gangtok by evening. If time allows, enjoy a leisurely walk around the town.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung (Approx. 110 km / 6 to 7 hours)
After breakfast, start your journey towards Lachung, a small & beautiful hamlet at Himalayan mountain in North Sikkim. The road takes you through charming valleys, cascading waterfalls, and small hamlets.
On the way, you can stop at scenic points such as:
- Seven Sisters Waterfall – a series of seven stunning waterfalls tumbling down the mountainside.
- Naga Waterfall – a perfect spot to take photographs.
- Singhik Viewpoint – where, on a clear day, you can see the majestic Kanchenjunga range.
By evening, you reach Lachung, located at 8,600 ft, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. This village is known for its apple orchards, hot springs, and wooden houses that add to its charm.

Early morning, after breakfast, leave for Yumthang Valley, often called the “Valley of Flowers.” Located at 11,800 ft, this valley comes alive in spring when rhododendrons and alpine flowers cover the slopes in vibrant colours. Even in winter, the valley offers breathtaking snow views.
On the way, you can also stop at Yumthang Hot Spring, known for its medicinal properties. If visiting in winter, you may also see snow all around, making the journey magical.
After spending time in Yumthang, return to Lachung for lunch. Soon after, begin your drive back to Gangtok. The journey will again treat you to waterfalls, valleys, and mountain scenery.
Arrive in Gangtok by evening and check into your hotel.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 5: Gangtok to Pelling (Approx. 115 km / 5 to 6 hours)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gangtok and drive to Pelling, a peaceful hill town in West Sikkim. On the way, you pass through forests, small villages, and scenic valleys.
Upon reaching Pelling, check into your hotel. Later, you can take a short walk to enjoy views of the mighty Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. In the evening, stroll around the local market and enjoy the village life of Pelling.

Reviews – Sikkim tour package

Very well tour organized by Mr.. Saikat. We covered North Sikkim, Gangtok and Pelling. Navigator took care of all hotels, car, driver, permits everyday. He would personally call everyday to ensure we had no issues and to inform us of the next day itinerary. Hotel quality and food in North Sikkim was excellent. Hotel in Pelling could have been better in terms. Staff at all hotels were however very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend Navigator India for your next tour to Sikkim.

We went to the ever so beautiful North Sikkim through Navigator, it was an amazing trip. The hotels were really good as well as our tour driver. Everything was corodinated to perfection by Mr. Saikat! Recommended 100/100!

Well arranged tour by Mr Saikat Das. Vehicles and Hotels were good.. Didnt face any problems at any point in the tour and Mr Das was available all the time with frequent follow ups and helping us when we needed any information. Overall.. very happy !!
