Namchi is located up to 78 km from the city of Gangtok in Sikkim. Namchi in Sikkim is well known for having the largest statue of Padmasambhava, who was the patron saint of the state. There are many other places to visit in Namchi sightseeing.

Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham)

Located around 5km southwest of Namchi atop the Solophok hill, Siddheshwar Dham complex consists of replicas of well-known Hindu pilgrimage attractions like Dwarka, Rameshwaram, and Jagannath Puri. It is well known for having giant 87ft long statue of Lord Shiva, replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas and sculpture of Lord Kirateshwar. You can have beautiful views and photo opportunities.

The temple was built to promote Sikkim as a beautiful and all-embracing state in India and around the world by the government of Sikkim. The ground of the temple looks a lot like a theme park spread over 28,958 hectares of landscapes. Samdruptse Monastery

The Samdruptse Monastery is the best example of modern architecture and planning as the most well-known monasteries of Sikkim. The monastery is located only 72 km from Gangtok. The foundation stone was laid by Dalai Lama on October 22, 1997, and this masterpiece had been designed by over 1000 workers, various engineers, skilled architects, and sculptors. The monastery was built in 3 years.

Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple

The spectacular Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is located at Assanthang, Namchi. The temple is located only a few kilometers from the district headquarters of Namchi Market and Namchi. This beautiful 2-storied temple building is painted in golden that really highlights in wide daylight. It is truly one of the best places to visit in Namchi with an airy first floor that can serve a lot of devotees.

Tarey Bhir

Located around 16 km from Namchi, Tarey Bhir is located on a high cliff at Sadam village in South Sikkim near Namchi. It is one of the best Namchi tourist places. There is a 3 km long trek made of stones with footsteps to climb the ridge. It is around 10,000 ft. high ridge with the gorge of up to 3500 ft. This place is best for adrenaline junkies as you can see Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Teesta Rivers at once.
